Torrevieja Town Map
Aqua Parks
There are two aqua parks close by Aquopolis and Aqua Park Flamingo
Beaches
Town – Play La Cura, Playa de los Locos, Playa Los Naufragos & many more.
La Mata – long, wide sandy beach with its own small resort.

Beautiful on a still day any time of year with several good beachfront restaurants. This beach also has volleyball courts & water sports.
Guardamar – the next main town north-east with a long beach & small marina.
La Marina – just after Guardamar immediately after the Segura river meets the sea. Very long unspoiled white sand beach backed by sand dunes with a couple of traditional Spanish beach restaurants. Our personal favourite.
Playa Flamenca & Cabo Roig – south-west, close to Zenia & Villa Martin.
Mar Menor & Murcia coast – there are various beautiful beaches south-west into Murcia / Costa Cálida.
Bowling
There is ten-pin bowling next to Habaneras.
Cinema
There is a cinema next to Habaneras showing English films.
Markets
Details of most local markets can be found here (generally open 9am – 2pm). Some of our favourites:
Almoradí – Saturday. Town centre, wide range of stalls & nice traditional town with lots of lovely cafés to stop for lunch.
Campo de Guardamar / Lemon Tree Market – Sunday. El Raso, inland from Guardamar next to La Mata lake.
Torrevieja – Friday. Located between the aqua-park & Sportcity (<1 mile from the apartment, walkable), wide range of stalls. Excellent selection of food stalls & local produce.
Museums
Several museums focused on the local area are within easy reach of the town centre, including the Submarine Floating, Sea & Salt, Natural History, Habaneras & many more a short ride away.
Music & dance
The impressive auditorium can be seen from the apartment & has regular classical music concerts, operas & dance shows.
Regular themed evenings, entertainment, dance shows & bands feature in the Spanish & European bars & restaurants throughout the resort.
Although not rivalling the super-clubs of Ibiza there are nightclubs attracting headline dj’s throughout the summer.
Parque De Las Naciones
Pretty little park between the apartment & town/beach.
